One of the best and most luxurious places to stay in Lake Tahoe is the Landing Resort and Spa in the South Lake Area on the waterfront. Even if you don’t stay here, you may want to come and dine or get a spa treatment. Wheelchair accessible rooms and suites are available.

This Best Western Station House Inn is located two blocks from the Nevada state line in South Lake Tahoe. It is a cozy, inviting, and exceptionally clean hotel. There is wheelchair accessible parking, a room with a roll-in shower, an excellent heating system for the colder months, and a delicious, hot, and hearty complimentary breakfast every morning at the restaurant on the property.

Just a quarter of a mile from the 3 main casinos is the Lakeside Inn & Casino. It is a convenient and handicapped friendly hotel. Ground-level rooms, parking, and room with a roll-in shower are available if arranged in advance. Be sure to get the heater fixed right away if it’s not working upon arrival during the colder months.

The Stardust Lodge in South Lake Tahoe is conveniently located directly across from Heavenly Village and just a short walk from the casinos. On the ground floor is #138 and is a wheelchair accessible room. There is a master bedroom and the couch in the living area also pulls out into a queen bed. A small kitchen with cooking utensils and a large refrigerator is very if you do not want to eat out for every meal. The vanity area is separate from the handicapped accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower.

There is a great heating and cooling system, which is certainly needed during the winter. Although Stardust Lodge has first-come-first-serve parking, for those who are handicapped and staying in #138 there is an assigned disabled spot right outside the door. For first-time guests the cost is discounted. This price does include a continental breakfast.
