Wheelchair Van Rentals in Vancouver, British Columbia

Wheelchair Van Rentals in Vancouver, British Columbia

In the Greater Vancouver, B.C. Area, Pacific Wheelchair Vans has wheelchair accessible Toyota, Dodge and Chrysler minivans with with side-entry Braun conversions for rent. The ramps are 29″ wide and the ramp opening is 54″ high. Pacific Wheelchair Vans also has two vans equipped with hand-controls and a powered swivel driver’s seat, so this setup is only usable by people who can transfer.

The seating setup is somewhat flexible because the front passenger seat can be removed. Most wheelchair users ride as passengers in the empty front passenger space using Q’Straints to tie down, which can secure any type of chair. Other clients (usually families) prefer to keep the passenger seat in place while the person in the wheelchair sits behind the driver. So in total, two people using wheelchairs can ride in one van.

A van can be rented for a day-trip or long-term excursion (29+ days). For your convenience, a van can even be arranged to be at the airport for you for an additional fee.

For complete details and pricing information please visit Pacific Wheelchair Vans.

At fourteen I became paralyzed but the love for adventure did not vanish. I want to see and experience this world. As the founder of wheelchairtraveling.com I believe in creating an accessible world and together we can make that happen. Be seen to be heard.

Thanks for the update Ry. It’s too bad they stopped. I hope they consider reopening that part of the business. Or someone else needs to start a business up there!
