The Beach House Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel with 54 suites. There are a few handicapped rooms but only one with a wheelchair accessible shower that unfortunately does not have an ocean view. However, in addition to the roll-in shower the sinks are cutout so one can roll right up to it. There are also door handles that are modified for quadriplegics.
The road to Half Moon Bay, Highway 92, is a beautiful drive that winds you around the hills to sea level. Along the way are nurseries, antiques shops, wineries, pumpkin patches, and Christmas tree farms, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Many visitors will stop along the way or on the way back at one of the places that catches their eye. .
